1. At what age does Image By Roxan begin coaching?  Do you coach adults?

You must be at least 14 years old to be enrolled into the Image By Roxan Modeling Program.

2.  Is Image By Roxan a modeling agency?
As we are not a modeling agency, we do have business relationships with reputable agencies across the United States and, when appropriate,  make introductions to agents in markets where your look would do well.   We are dedicated to you and wish to prepare you to enter into the industry. We want you, our graduates, to have every opportunity possible to work in the industry.  We truly want you to succeed by being well trained and appearing highly marketable and professional.

3. If you’re a short person, can you still be a model?
The way to get reputable agents eager to represent you is if you have a strong on-camera presence, positive energy and a unique look regardless of your height.  There are agencies who specialize in representing all types of diverse looks.  You must have self-confidence and believe in yourself.  Others should feel uplifted when around you and want to be in your company.  This is a competitive business and personality is just as important as looks.
4.  Does Image By Roxan sell portfolio photos?
A portfolio, or model’s “book”, is really a compilation of all your work experience, and no one can buy experience.  We do offer sessions with our photographer for those wanting to build and expand their portfolio with updated photographs.  Photos are a model’s business card and so it is vital to you and your career that your photos are as current as possible.  A model needs to be in front of the camera as often as possible.

5.  Since Image By Roxan is only located in Colorado, how does it compare to the national modeling schools?
Fundamentally, the foundation to modeling is the same regardless of where you are working.  These basics, which are so important and can differentiate you between an inexperienced model and a professional model, are thoroughly explained in our program.  This type of ‘tried-and-true’ information completely works, and works well, whether you are modeling in a small town or in a big city like Paris.  Moreover, all teachers at Image By Roxan are working professional models and involved in the industry as it is today and knowledgeable about current trends.  At Image By Roxan we also offer private coaching in person and over the internet via Skype.
